Chelan Chase is proud to announce that we are now USA Track and Field course-certified. Even though this allows you to now race a USATF certified course, we still encourage anyone and everyone to participate whether you race, run, walk or push your stroller. This race is truly for everyone at all levels. Please join us!

Awards Ceremony
An awards ceremony will take place immediately following the race at Riverwalk Park shelter. Overall male and female finishers and the first three finishers of each division will receive awards. Individual with the highest dollar amount in pledges will receive an award. Team with the highest combined pledge amount will receive an award.
Prize Drawings
Drawings for prizes will be held at the awards ceremony. Anyone who enters and is in attendance at the ceremony is eligible to win; a Grand Prize winner will be drawn from among participants in attendance.

T-shirts and Sweatshirts
All registered participants who indicate a T-Shirt size will receive a 2010 Chelan Chase T-Shirt on race day. Want a Sweatshirt? Each race participant who contributes a minimum of $200 in pledges to the Chelan Chase will also receive a sweatshirt, which will be ordered on race day and sent to the participant.

Soroptimist International of Chelan is an international volunteer service organization for business and professional women who work to improve the lives of women and girls, both locally and globally. Soroptimist International of Chelan’s (SI Chelan) many community projects include college scholarships for local students and those seeking continuing education, and the Chelan Chase, www.soroptimist.org.
Proceeds
The Chelan Chase donates 50% of its proceeds to the Lake Chelan Community Hospital's (LCCH) Mammography Department to provide mammograms and diagnostic services at no personal cost to all individuals who are uninsured or under-insured, www.lcch.com. Proceeds also go to Chelan-Douglas Relay for Life. The Chelan Chase donates 50% of its proceeds to the Chelan-Douglas Relay for Life for breast cancer research. The Chelan-Douglas Relay is held in East Wenatchee each May, www.wenatcheerelay.com. Relay for Life is the American Cancer Society’s signature activity. The American Cancer Society programs include cancer research, school and worksite educational programs, public policy efforts, and direct services to cancer patients and their families.
